Gretsch Catalina Maple
This is my Gretsch Catalina Maple drum kit in Black Star Dust. It's a 6 piece kit:
- 22" x 18" Bass Drum
- 08" x 07" Tom Tom
- 10" x 07" Tom Tom
- 12" x 08" Tom Tom
- 14" x 14" Floor Tom
- 16" x 16" Floor Tom
So far, I have recorded 'Love' by 'Not So Clever' and played it live for Ollie Hutton's Guildhall E.P release gig and headline the Boileroom with 'Not So Clever', plenty more to come!
Gretsch Renown ( Maple)
This is My Gretsch renown Maple in satin white. This kit has sentimental value as it was my first acoustic kit. The kit is unique in its configuration with the extra kick that didn't appear in the Gretsch brochure:
- 22" x 16" ( kick)
- 20" x 14 "( kick)
- 08" x 07" (tom)
- 10 "x 07" (tom)
- 12" x08" (tom)
- 14" x 14" (floor tom)
- 16" x16" (floor tom)
I have notoriously played this kit on 'Noah Taylor's 'Last Time' as well as 'Not So Clever's 'She Said'.
Roland TD-30KV
My Roland TD-30kv is the first 'proper' kit I got aged 12 after proving I could play the Jeff Pocaro's "Rosanna Shuffle" . My Dad thought this was a safe bet but I won!
Apart from enabling me to practice quietly it also allowed me to record a lot of content throughout lockdown, which ultimately convinced me want to pursue music as my career.
This is still considered one of the best e-drum kits ever!
